Kadant will be participating in the bi-annual Foodex event April 16-18. Foodex is the leading trade show for the food and drink processing, packaging and logistics industries throughout the United Kingdom. The three-day event will take place at the NEC Convention Centre in Birmingham.

Located at stand K308, Kadant will be displaying a range of products that contain unique solutions for food and beverage manufacturing production challenges. The VeriLite™and VeriKleen™ roll cleaner assemblies and the Accuflake Pro™ blade holder are used in a variety of applications including in the production of chocolate, biscuits, cereal, and starch. “Our products are used to eliminate downtime costs associated with cleaning oven bands, conveyors, and rollers,” said Michael Williams, business development manager at Kadant UK.

The Kadant Rotoflex™ resource recovery strainer will also be on display at the stand.  The Rotoflex™ strainer is used distilleries and brewers as well as in applications such as fruit and vegetable washing to filter process water and recover valuable fibre using an innovative, self-powered rotating screen. 

In addition to filtration and doctoring products, Kadant will also feature its steam and condensate system engineering capabilities. Mo Qasim, business development manager at Kadant UK, will demonstrate the benefits associated with a Kadant designed, energy efficient system, which minimizes waste, yet delivers a user-friendly interface in terms of operation.
