Kadant Names Mike Soucy Vice President, Corporate Accounts

Soucy 2025THREE RIVERS, Mich., January 29, 2026 – Kadant Johnson LLC, a subsidiary of Kadant Inc. (NYSE: KAI), announced the promotion of Mike Soucy to Vice President, Corporate Accounts, effective January 1, 2026.

In this role, Mr. Soucy is responsible for strengthening and advancing strategic commercial relationships with key corporate accounts, including manufacturers, engineering firms, and distributors. Representing Kadant Black Clawson, Kadant Johnson, and the Kadant Solutions Division, he will work closely with Kadant subsidiaries across the Americas to support customer engagement and advance Kadant’s interests in critical markets.

Mr. Soucy has been a key member of Kadant Johnson’s leadership team since 2016, when he assumed responsibility for the systems engineering group. He joined Kadant in 1997 through a subsidiary of The Johnson Corporation, now Kadant Canada. Mr. Soucy was appointed president of the Canadian business in 1998 and led that operation until relocating to the United States in 2015. Prior to joining Kadant, he served as a product manager for steam and condensate systems at Valmet‑Enerdry.

Mr. Soucy brings decades of industry experience in papermaking and converting, demonstrated through frequent technical presentations at TAPPI (Technical Association for the Pulp & Paper Industries) and PAPTAC (Pulp and Paper Technical Association of Canada) events, as well as at leading paper engineering programs at Western Michigan University and Miami University. He is an active board member of the Association of Suppliers to the Paper Industry (ASPI) and is recognized for his engagement with customers and suppliers in the development of collaborative, value-driven outcomes.
