Higher productivity results from controlled feeding and compressed volume of stacked veneer. The Veneer Chipper can normally process the veneer residual produced by three high production peeler lathes.
Minimal disc end movement is accomplished by use of preloaded tapered roller bearings that support the disc. This results in a uniform and tight anvil-to-knife clearance that produces more high-grade chips.
The heavy-duty, thick plate disc, inclined 15° to the horizontal, provides unobstructed feeding. This permits the chipping of solid materials when necessary.
The heavy construction utilized in the Chipper disc, frame and powered feed works rolls ensure reliability and the means to handle abnormal surges while maintaining high chip production.
