Kadant Johnson Completes ISO 9001 Re-Certification, Elevated to Benchmark Status

Three Rivers, Mich., August 25, 2017–Kadant Johnson LLC, a subsidiary of Kadant Inc. (NYSE: KAI), successfully completed a recertification audit of its ISO 9001 quality management system and was recommended for elevation to “Benchmark” status for the second consecutive year. Kadant Johnson became ISO 9001 certified in 1995 and has maintained its certification since that time.

The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is the world’s largest developer and publisher of international standards. According to the International Organization for Standardization, the ISO 9001 standard is one of the most widely known and internationally accepted models for quality systems as well as a basis for highly-effective quality systems. Achieving certification is a written assurance that a management system has been audited and verified that it conforms to the requirements specified in the standard.
