Kadant Johnson Inc. recently hosted TAPPI’s CORBOTEC (Corrugated Board Technical Service Committee) annual summer meeting at its W.R. Monroe Research and Development Center in Three Rivers, Michigan.

The meeting was attended by more than 40 representatives from corrugating plants, paper mills, and corrugated box plant suppliers. Presentations were given by representatives from Fosber, Cascades Sonoco, MarquipWardUnited, Double E, and Kadant Johnson. Sponsors included Pratt Industries, Harper/Love Adhesives, MarquipWardUnited, and Kadant Johnson.

The CORBOTEC committee provides technical assistance to board mills, container plants, and box customers in resolving board and container problems by promoting information exchange and communication between all elements of the process and distribution cycle. CORBOTEC is one of eight technical committees that represent TAPPI’s Corrugated Packaging Division.
