Kadant Johnson Awarded Rebuild of Paper Machine Steam and Condensate System

THREE RIVERS, Mich., October 3, 2024 – Kadant Johnson LLC, a subsidiary of Kadant Inc. (NYSE: KAI), has been awarded a paper machine steam and condensate system rebuild, including system engineering, dryer drainage equipment, and related steam joints and syphons. 

PT2X SideThe paper machine produces recycled paper used in residential and commercial building products. The overall machine rebuild will allow the customer to increase production while reducing natural gas consumption approximately 50% and electricity consumption 20%.
